Financial Resources & Aids

Living Well Home Medical Equipment is here to help.

We Can Help You Get Funding for Your Home Medical Equipment

If you require home medical equipment, you may qualify for funding through provincial programs, insurance providers, or community organizations. These programs can help cover items such as Walkers, Wheelchairs, CPAP Equipment, and other Daily Living Aids.

We are registered vendors with ODSP (Ontario Disability Support Program), ADP (Assistive Devices Program), WSIB (Workplace Safety Insurance Board), VAC (Veterans’ Affairs Canada) and NIHB (Non-Insured Health Benefits). Our team is here to help you explore your funding options, handle paperwork, and make the process as simple and stress-free as possible.

How Funding Programs Work

Funding programs are available for home medical devices such as walkers, wheelchairs, & more!

1.

Call Us & Ask For a Mobility Specialist

We'll gladly chat with you to determine what the best equipment is to help you remain proudly mobile. We offer equipment trials if you are not sure about your equipment needs.

2.

Review All Your Funding Options

We will discuss funding programs & eligibility with you to determine the best path forward.  Our mobility specialists can help you find a Therapist, if needed, or assist you with filling out forms.

3.

Funding Updates

Depending on the funding program you go with, you will either hear directly from the program facilitator or they will reach out to us. Either way it is important to stay in touch so we can get your equipment ordered quickly.

4.

Order and Equipment Set up

Once funding has been approved we will place the order for your equipment. When the equipment arrives (or if we already have it in store) we will set it up using the therapists guidelines.

Can Living Well HME Help Me Get Funding?

Yes, we can and would be happy to help you.  In many cases you will also need the assistance of an Occupational or Physical Therapist but, no worries, we can help you find one also!

Yes, we have a great “Try before you Buy” program that allows you to rent the equipment first and apply the first months rent towards the purchase.  We also loan out equipment (at no charge) if you are working with an approved Occupational or Physical Therapist for the duration of your trial period with the therapist (maximum one month).

Unfortunately, most funding bodies will only fund equipment PRIOR to it being purchased.

Some programs cover repair costs if they funded the equipment, and most new equipment includes a warranty for parts. Living Well HME has highly trained and certified technicians that can service all equipment

*(whether purchased at our store or not).

* Some older or foreign made equipment can not be repaired.
