About Us
Living Well Home Medical Equipment is owned by Allison and Ron Seiderer. We are the only locally owned/operated mobility store in Peterborough. We are also part of the largest buying group in North America – enabling us to provide affordable prices on mobility purchased from our caring, knowledgeable staff. Our highly trained service team can repair your mobility equipment in your own home or at our full service shop. While our experienced and compassionate Product Consultants can walk through your home with you explaining affordable ways to make it safer and more accessible for you. If you are interested, you can even try out the equipment on a trial (few days) or rental (weeks to months) basis. We have lots of easy, worry free options for you and your family and we can even assist with funding information.
We are located at 755 Erskine Avenue and have been in Peterborough since 1995. We are a licensed Medical Devices Establishment and an authorized vendor for ADP • ODSP • WSIB • VAC. We also work very closely with many Insurance Companies, several local Hospitals, Long Term Care Facilities, Retirement Homes, Doctors and Therapists. We cover the geographic area from Haliburton, Apsley, Bobcaygeon, Bancroft, Lindsay, Lakefield down to Cobourg and Port Hope and East to Campbellford, Hastings and Norwood. With four staff on the road every day we make it to all of those towns at least once a week (Northumberland at least twice a week).

Ron Seiderer, Owner/Service Manager
Ron’s background is primarily mechanical/electrical/electronic design. He has spent over 15 years designing/repairing/servicing equipment that is presently used in all major international Navies and Seismic/oil exploration sea vessels. He has also designed audio equipment that is used in most major recording/movie production studios. He holds his TSSA license for commercial elevating and he is always up for a challenge or listening to a Veteran’s life story! Ron is happy to come to your home, business or church to advise on the best solution to make it accessible.
Allison Seiderer, Owner/Sales Manager
Allison has combined her educational background in Architecture with a passion for making homes and businesses accessible for all. Her extensive knowledge of mobility products and aids combined with a genuine concern for her clients has led to a great demand for her services. In addition to helping clients and their families make the best choice in a wheelchair or walker, etc she is also asked to speak to groups on accessibility issues. She currently works with the City of Peterborough to provide advice on accessible designs and also does accessibility reviews for private businesses. She is actively involved in the volunteer community in Peterborough, as a Rotarian as well as working with accessiblity groups, United Way and Hospice Peterborough.
Heidi, Product and Rehab Consultant
Heidi likes interacting with all of our unique clients. She enjoys meeting the challenging seating needs of her clients by helping them gain independence and freedom. She loves the outdoors and her favourite outdoor activities are kayaking and having bonfires.

Mandy, Product and Rehab Consultant
Mandy enjoys her work immensely and loves that she can make a difference in peoples lives by giving them increased mobility and comfort. In her spare time, she is a volunteer crew leader with Habitat for Humanity and enjoys doing carpentry and renovations.
Scott, Service Technician
Scott loves to help keep everyone moving with his ability to repair and maintain various equipment. He enjoys that his job allows him to help people every single day! Scott loves to cook and has an award-winning lasagne!
Kathy, CPAP Specialist
Kathy enjoys being able to help people that are having issues sleeping. She loves animals and has two dogs and a cat at home.
Megan, CPAP Specialist
Megan likes the feeling she gets when her clients are successful at CPAP and are able to enjoy the feeling of a well-rested sleep. A fun fact about Megan is she recently moved back from New Brunswick where she was living for a while.
Kim, CPAP Specialist
Kim enjoys working with her co-workers, meeting new clients and helping people with their sleep apnea. Her favourite pastime is hanging out with her kids!
Gwen, In Store Product Consultant
Gwen loves dealing with all of our clients as they all have interesting stories to share! She always enjoys being able to help them whether it is in our showroom or over the phone. She loves to travel, loves her fur babies and a good Jane Austen novel.
Wendy, In Store Product Consultant
Wendy enjoys the variety of the work that her job entails, from working with clients in the showroom, working with suppliers to assembling equipment. She loves that everyday is different! She enjoys travelling and working with pets as a dog groomer in her spare time.

Glenda likes that her role allows her to assist customers finding what they need! When she is not at work she loves gardening and is a huge sports fan!

Peggy loves that she gets to work directly with her local community out of our Bowmanville location. She enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and long walks!

Sam enjoys the fast pace of her position and how she gets to learn something new everyday! She loves travelling and one of her favourite trips was backpacking through Australia and New Zealand.
Molly and Toby, Therapy Dogs
Our loving Therapy Dogs are half Australian Shephard and Poodle – commonly referred to as an AussieDoodle. They spend their evenings with their family (Ron, Allison and their two girls) but often spend their days hanging out at the store. Although they are sometimes shy they always enjoys visitors to the store and will graciously come say hello once they know you!
