I decided to wait 1 month before I wrote a review to give you as much feedback as possible about my CPAP experience. Nichelle contacted me by telephone to arrange an in person meeting. When I showed up she was extremely nice. She went over the doctors notes, she showed me how to use the machine, she answered every question I asked and there were many and she then had a number of masks to try according to my doctors suggestion and her expertise. I took the equipment home and the first night was an improvement but after a few more nights my sleep was amazing. I wake up earlier, no longer have headaches, don’t nap during the day, and actually have trouble falling asleep because I’m so energetic during the day. Oh,ohhhhhh, my wife sleeps better now as well. No more snoring yay. I had a few machine issues come up but I think it was probably user error. I had trouble aligning the face mask nostril holes to mine for 4 weeks thinking I’d just have to learn how to make it work but after consulting with Nichelle I met up with her again and she found another mask to try. Having a 30 day trial period was very good for me. Nichelle is consistently a nice person. She’s so compassionate to your needs. She wants this to work for you in every way possible. I’ve never felt uncomfortable asking her for help and she does get back to you in a timely manner. Thank you Nichelle!!!!! Living Well, thank you for hiring Nichelle. Well done. Now give this lady a bonus on her pay.Posted on Google![]()

Living Well Home Medical Equipment - Google Review I have been a loyal customer at Living Well Home Medical Equipment since 2013. I had been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea the previous December, and while I was committed to using a CPAP machine, I was uncomfortable with the idea of not only wearing the nasal pillow mask, but also shopping for the equipment. Perhaps a little bit of silly pride was playing a part in this discomfort, but there was no denying I was always exhausted and not getting enough REM sleep. I needed to do this. When I walked into Living Well, I was greeted with a warm welcome and treated with courtesy and respect. The staff helped me find the equipment and supplies I needed and set me up for follow-up service appointments and cleanings. I have sat with a couple of CPAP Specialists over the years, who were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. Recently, I have been serviced by Nichelle Fife, Living Well’s CPAP Specialist. She has been on the ball with scheduling and contacting me when my supplies and equipment were due for replacement, and in line with my benefits coverage to ensure I had no out-of-pocket expenses. Last year, the display on my CPAPE machine indicated that the device had exceeded its lifecycle and was due for replacement. I contacted Living Well, and they directed me to reach out to the local sleep clinic to get an order for replacement. When I called, the sleep clinic stated that as long as it was still working, I could not get a new machine. Earlier this year, I spoke with Nichelle and told her that I had been restructured out of my career, my CPAP machine had exceeded its lifecycle, and my benefits were about to expire. I was concerned that shortly after my benefits expired, my CPAP machine would die and I would be out a lot of money to get a new one. I had an upcoming appointment at the sleep clinic, and she noted that 10+ years was a reasonable amount of time to replace my CPAP machine and recommended that I speak with the doctor and explain my situation. I did so at my appointment, and he agreed with Nichelle. The sleep clinic expedited the paperwork to Living Well, and Nichelle expedited the replacement order as they did not have my model in stock. In the meantime, the sleep clinic had asked Living Well to bring in my existing CPAP machine and adjust the air pressure until I received a new device. I made an appointment with Nichelle and met in her office to have the pressure adjusted and order my new machine. I was very impressed with not only her professionalism, but also with her pleasant personality and the genuine conversation we had during my appointment. I actually felt like I was chatting with a friend versus a customer being served by a stranger at a store. I was also anxious about getting a new machine in time before my benefits expired that upcoming weekend, and she assured me that they would get me the model I was looking for in time for benefit coverage. As a former hiring manager who has recruited quite a few people over the years, I know how challenging it can be to find the right person for the job. Sometimes, you have to look long and hard instead of settling for someone who is not the best fit. Far too often, I meet people working where I shop, and they are clearly unhappy doing what they are doing. They don’t try to hide it, and it comes across during the customer/business interaction/transaction. From my previous recruiting experience, I know a ‘good one’ when I see one, and Nichelle is one of those people. She brings something special to her job that not many do … herself. I hope the owners/managers of Living Well Home Medical Equipment see this, and do whatever they can to keep her on their team. You’ve got one of the ‘good ones’ and a good local business that I will continue to support in the years to come. Thank you for the great service and care! I needed a hoyer lift for a family member with very little notice. I called so many companies and couldn't find anything. Heidi from Peterborough and Gerry in Bowmanville, figured out a way to have a lift at my family member's home the next day. Ben and Adam delivered the lift and showed us how to use it. They were patient and knowledgeable and kind. I would highly recommend Living Well Home Medical Equipment to anyone that needs this type of support. They made our life so much easier at a very difficult time and we are so grateful.Posted on Google![]()

Not only did they contact me right away he also drove me to the hospital so I could be by husband's side before going in for surgery.
